Dopo varie parentesi e collaborazioni lavorative, tra cui ricordiamo quella con Donato Nicoletti con cui fond\u00f2 OSM ( Old School Motorcycles), Matteo sente il bisogno di una creatura tutta sua in cui dare sfogo alla passione per i motori.<br \/>Oggi presentiamo il primo progetto importante di Hazard Motorcycles, La Veloce, la cui uscita in anteprima ufficiale al Motor Bike Expo di quest\u2019anno ha raccolto un coro unanime di consensi aggiudicandosi la categoria Free Style nel LowRide Contest e mettendosi in evidenza anche negli altri bike show in scena a MBE. <br \/>Abbiamo incontrato Matteo nella sua officina e ci ha raccontato qualcosa su questa incredibile realizzazione. Il progetto nasce intorno ad un motore Magnum per opera di Randy Smith che negli anni 60 fuse un Flathead e un Ironhead per correre a Bonnevile, tale moto \u00e8 tutt\u2019oggi esposta all\u2019Harley-Davidson Museum, \u201cMi sono innamorato di una fotografia che capeggiava sulla parete dell\u2019officina in cui sono arrivato nel 94, un tipo con la barba \u2013 Randy Smith &#8211; aveva in braccio un motore che era una fusione tra un Flat e un\u2019Iron. La trasmissione invece \u00e8 qualcosa di esclusivo perch\u00e9 al posto della classica del Flathead a tre marce \u00e8 stata utilizzata una commercializzata dalla W&amp;W a quattro marce e grazie all\u2019amico Samuel, che realizza pezzi per i WL, \u00e8 riuscito a creare un pre selettore, che a differenza di quello del WL dove il selettore resta l\u00ec fermo, con questo sistema ritorna indietro comportandosi come un normale cambio moderno.<br \/>Grazie al supporto tecnico di un altro grande appassionato del genere Old Style, Graziano Cabona, che ha progettato e realizzato i castelletti dei bilanceri adattandoli al motore Ironhead e la cinematica dei movimenti delle valvole, realizzando anche la cover tra selettore del cambio e la primaria scoperta. <br \/>Carburatore S&amp;S Super B, con un filtro aria home made che riprende quello dell\u2019Indian nell\u2019epico film \u201cIndian la grande sfida\u201d. <br \/>In sostanza la \u201cVeloce\u201d \u00e8 al 90% tutta hand made, pochissime le parti acquistate. Partendo dal telaio rigido, il manubrio, i comandi, gli scarichi tutto \u00e8 realizzato in casa. <br \/>La forcella anteriore \u00e8 una replica di quella di una Moto Guzzi da gara degli anni 30 che \u00e8 stata realizzata da un artigiano emiliano specializzato in Moto Guzzi da corsa degli anni 30\/50. Freno a disco sul posteriore e niente sulla ruota anteriore.<br \/>Scarichi come detto sono fatti a mano del tipo \u201cdrag pipe racing\u201d, gli unici che si addicevano al modello di moto. La sella \u00e8 una replica degli anni 20\/30 che aveva la seduta in legno, una Mesinger Racer Seat della W&amp;W.<br \/>Sulla carrozzeria possiamo dire che coda e puntale sono stati realizzati da Metal Bike su disegno di Hazard, la coda in particolare riprende quello della Smoothness del grande preparatore statunitense Arlen Ness, da poco scomparso che ha influenzato pi\u00f9 mezzo secolo di storia della customizzazione. Il serbatoio di Custom Garage \u00e8 stato modificato, sono due gusci separati dalla trave del telaio, nel destro troviamo il carburante mentre il sinistro funge da serbatoio dell\u2019olio. <br \/>La verniciatura \u00e8 molto particolare con una percentuale del 77% di acciaio inox ed \u00e8 stata realizzata da Andrea Kimera. Tutte le viti a vista sono state coperte con dei proiettili della 45 Magnum, mentre le tubazioni in ottone sono state realizzate hand made da Matteo cos\u00ec come tutti i comandi a pedale realizzati sul tornio. <br \/>Il faro posteriore \u00e8 di una Bugatti scovato nello swap meet di Manheimm, mentre quello anteriore \u00e8 un faro Marshall, che tra l\u2019altro \u00e8 andato in frantumi cadendo alla viglia del Motor Bike Expo ed \u00e8 stato miracolosamente rimpiazzato da un altro uguale trovato presso un rigattiere a Como.
